Overview
- The Drug Disposal Search screen provides the ability to search drug waste disposal & outcome records.
- Click the 'Navigation' button on the VetView button bar.
- Select the 'Inventory Reconciliation' hyperlink from the 'Navigation Menu'.
- Click the 'Track Loss' button on the Inventory Reconciliation & Adjustment screen.
The availability of menu items is controlled by privileges that are assigned to each user, so the 'Navigation Menu' will not look the same for all users.
How To ...
Record Pharmacy Waste
Inventory Waste will have the following controls:
- Product
- Inventory Location
- Inventory Area
- Date/Time
- User tracking loss
- Qty lost (with sales / stock as options)
- Type of loss (Used, Wasted, Missing - only available for non controlled substances)
- Comments
- Reason for loss (school defined - could include Expired, for example)
- Method of Destruction
- Witness and Witness Password
