The VetView Pharmacy System is how prescriptions are requested, processed, and issued both within the hospital interface, and also externally to Controlled Drug Machines via the network.  VetView strives to stay in compliance with DEA requirements and the state laws of each school we support.

Pharmacy System Shortcuts

My Pending Prescriptions (Requested By):  Widget that allows you to track the progress of submitted prescriptions on a per patient basis

My Pending Prescriptions (Prescribing DVM): Widget that allows you to track the progress of prescriptions approved by the user on a per patient basis

Prescriptions In Process (Reserved By):  Widget that allows you to track working prescriptions reserved by the user 

Prescriptions In process (Pharmacists):  Widget that allows a pharmacist to track processed prescriptions assigned to them by techs waiting for a final issue

Request Prescription:  Available on the Patient Record and the Patient List

Prescription Notifications:  Mail system notifications when prescriptions are requested, approved, and issued from the pharmacy, with a working link directly to the prescription

My Incomplete Medication Administration Records:  Displays any outstanding MARs that should be completed to avoid record reficiency
