How do I set up my Lab Inventory Areas and Locations?

Inventory Areas are associated with Lab Sections in VetView. The Lab Inventory Area becomes the parent to Inventory Locations, separate from the workstations associated with the Inventory Section.

This allows a single Lab Section to manage the inventory for the entire Lab if needed, or for each individual Lab Section to manage their own section.

How you want to structure your Inventory Areas and Locations will be dependent on who will be managing the inventory - for example, if one person will be managing the inventory for the entire Lab independent of section, you can consider creating a new section just for Inventory for clarity. Or you can promote an existing Lab Section to an Inventory Section, and build the Inventory areas out from there.
