Unit Setup tab
Overview
Provides the ability to designate a Hospital Unit as an Inventory Area that can receive, transfer, and use inventory.

Unit Details subtab
Provides the ability to specify basic information about the Hospital Unit; such as, Name, Description, Address, Default Tax Region, and Parent Unit.
Catalog Master subtab
Provides the ability to setup Master Catalogs for a Hospital Unit.
Appointment Types subtab
Provides the ability to setup Appointment Types for a Hospital Unit.
Schedules subtab
- Provides access to:

Provides the ability to setup Schedules for a Hospital Unit.
Color Setup subtab
Provides the ability to setup Schedule Color for a Hospital Unit.
Role Setup subtab
Provides the ability to setup Schedule Roles for a Hospital Unit.
Reminder Setup subtab
Provides the ability to setup the Schedule Reminder for a Hospital Unit.
Templates subtab
Provides the ability to setup Schedule Templates for a Hospital Unit.
Assigned Users subtab
Provides the ability to assign Users to Hospital Units.
Select one or more Hospital Units and provide the User access to:
- Billing Picklists
- Estimates
Hospital Requests
Inventory Transfer Request Picklists
- Night Cart Picklists
- Product Reorder Picklists
- Purchase Order Picklists
Request Setup subtab
Provides the ability to setup Notifications for Request Statuses, for Hospital Units.
Patient Locations subtab
Provides the ability to create, and assign Default Products to, Patient Locations for a Hospital Units.
Inventory Locations subtab
Provides the ability to create Inventory Location Structures for an Inventory Area.
Transfer Pricing Setup subtab
Provides the ability to setup the pricing models to be used when products are transferred between Inventory Areas.
Click the 'Navigation' button on the VetView button bar at the top of the screen.
Click the 'Hospital Setup' hyperlink.
The availability of menu items is controlled by privileges that are assigned to each user, so the 'Navigation Menu' will not look the same for all users.
The 'Hospital Setup' screen will open.
- Select the 'Hospital' from the drop-down list.
- Select the 'Unit Setup' tab.
