Unit Setup tab

Overview

  • Provides the ability to designate a Hospital Unit as an Inventory Area that can receive, transfer, and use inventory.

  • Provides access to:
    • Unit Details
    • Catalog Master Setup
    • Appointment Types Setup
    • Schedule Setup
    • Product Map
    • Assigned Users
    • Hospital Request Setup
    • Patient Locations Setup
    • Inventory Locations Setup
    • Transfer Pricing Setup

Unit Details subtab

  • Provides the ability to specify basic information about the Hospital Unit; such as, Name, DescriptionAddress, Default Tax Region, and Parent Unit.

Catalog Master subtab

  • Provides the ability to setup Master Catalogs for a Hospital Unit.

Appointment Types subtab

  • Provides the ability to setup Appointment Types for a Hospital Unit.

Schedules subtab


Assigned Users subtab

  • Provides the ability to assign Users to Hospital Units.

  • Select one or more Hospital Units and provide the User access to:

    • Billing Picklists
    • Estimates
    • Hospital Requests

    • Inventory Transfer Request Picklists

    • Night Cart Picklists
    • Product Reorder Picklists
    • Purchase Order Picklists

Request Setup subtab

  • Provides the ability to setup Notifications for Request Statuses, for Hospital Units.

Patient Locations subtab

  • Provides the ability to create, and assign Default Products to, Patient Locations for a Hospital Units.

Inventory Locations subtab

Transfer Pricing Setup subtab

  • Provides the ability to setup the pricing models to be used when products are transferred between Inventory Areas.

Fields and Controls

The following table lists all of the fields and controls found on this screen.  The fields and controls are grouped by their location on the screen; for example, buttons on a 'section' or columns in a 'data grid'.  Use the controls at the top of the table to change the sort, grouping, and row height.  To see more of the cell content,  click on the cell expansion control located at the top-right corner of a selected cell.
