Add Reorder Items that are Below Minimum Quantity

This functionality is new as of version 4.1.

Products that have reached their Minimum Quantity in the Inventory Area, can be added to a Reorder List with one button on the ‘Product Reorder Search’ screen, or ‘Product Reorder’ screen.

In order to have access to Add Reorder Items that are Below Minimum Quantity:

One of the following must apply:

To Add Reorder Items that are Below Minimum Quantity from the 'Product Reorder Search' screen:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Product Reorder Search' screen.

    1. Refer to Search Reorder Lists.

  2. Click the ‘Create Reorder List by Min Stock’ button.

  3. The ‘New Reorder List’ dialog will open.

  4. The ‘Auto add items below min. stock quantity’ option will be selected.

  5. Click the ‘Save' button to close the dialog and create the new Product Reorder List containing Products that have reached their Minimum Quantity in the Inventory Area; OR,

  6. Click the ‘Cancel’ button to close the dialog and return to the ‘Product Reorder Search’ screen.

  7. Refer to Create Purchase Orders from Reorder List to continue.

To Add Reorder Items that are Below Minimum Quantity from the 'Product Reorder' screen:

  1. Navigate to the ‘Product Reorder’ screen.

    1. Refer to Search Reorder Lists.

  2. Click the ‘Add Items Below Min Stock Qty’ button.

  3. The ‘Add Items Below Min Stock Qty’ dialog will open.

  4. Select the Vendor.

    1. If the ‘Vendor’ is specified, only Products that are linked to the Vendor, and have reached their Minimum Quantity in the Inventory Area, will be added.

    2. If the ‘Vendor’ is left blank, all Products, that have reached their Minimum Quantity in the Inventory Area, will be added.

  5. Select to:

    1. Append the Items that are below Minimum Quantity to the current Product Reorder Items; OR,

      1. If any of the Items that are below Minimum Quantity are already in the Product Reorder List, they will be skipped.

    2. Delete the existing Product Reorder Items, and rebuild the Product Reorder List from the Items that are below Minimum Quantity.

  6. Click the ‘Add Items’ button to close the dialog and add the Items that are below Minimum Quantity to the current Product Reorder List; OR,

  7. Click the ‘Cancel’ button to close the dialog without modifying the current Product Reorder List.

  8. Refer to Create Purchase Orders from Reorder List to continue.
