Transaction Log
This tab allows you to search for all inventory related transactions that include this product, including adding inventory via Product Setup, updates via Purchase Receiving or Inventory Count, sales or uses during patient visits, or losses such as Waste or Expiration.
Transaction Type | Definition |
---|---|
Purchase Receiving | New Inventory was added for this product in this location on the Purchase Order Receiving screen, from the vender. |
Transfer Receiving | New Inventory was added for this product in this location on the Inventory Transfer screen. |
Transferred Out | This quantity of inventory was sent to a different location and deducted. |
Transferred In | This quantity of inventory was transferred to this location from a different location. |
Waste | This quantity of inventory was wasted. Waste should be used for inventory items that are damaged or otherwise unusable, but not expired. |
Lost | This quantity of inventory was lost and could not be accounted for. Lost should be used for inventory items that cannot be found in any location. |
Expired | This quantity of inventory went past the expiration date and had to be discarded. |
Sold | This quantity of inventory was sold via an Order and was deducted from the inventory area associated with the unit or order. |
Used | This quantity of inventory was used by the unit, although not necessarily charged to the client via an Order. For example, if a product was included in a surgery kit, it was used and removed from inventory, but it is the surgery package that will be sold. |
Reconciliation | An adjustment of the inventory value based on Inventory Reconciliation. |
Product Setup | New Inventory was added for this product in this location on the Product Setup screen. |
Inventory Count | An adjustment of the inventory value based on the Inventory Count screen. |
