Patient Reminders Privileges
The Patient Reminders system is integrated throughout the software to generate reminders to clients for services due for their animal.
This system can also be utilized internally by the hospital to generate reminders to other departments regarding follow up services.
This system is different from the Scheduled Appointment Reminders, which will be implemented in verison 1.8 of VetView.

| Add Patient Reminder | Allows the user to add a new reminder to a patient. | Patient record, Order Management Screen |
| Edit Patient Reminder | Allows the user to modify an existing reminder on a patient. | Patient record |
| Schedule Patient Reminder | Allows the user to create a scheduled appointment based on a reminder, after response from the client, from the right click menu. | Patient record, Reminder Worklist |
| Delete Patient Reminder | Allows the user to delete a reminder from a patient or from the Reminder Worklist. | Reminder Worklist |
| Access Reminder Card Setup | Grants view only access to the Reminder Card Setup page. Allows the user to see the first tab of Reminder Setup, and view the products associated with a reminder, but not make any changes. | Reminder Setup |
| Access Template Setup | Grants access to the Template Setup tab. Templates are where a reminder is associated with specific products. This tab also grants users create and delete rights on this tab. | Reminder Setup |
| Access Communication Type | Grants access to the Communication Type tab. Recommended only for high level hospital admins, since what communications are available will be determined by hospital policy. | Reminder Setup |

| Delete Reminder Template | Allows the user to remove a template from future usage. Templates marked as deleted are no longer available to add to patient records, but will be preserved in the system historically. | Reminder Setup |
| View Work List | Grants access to the Reminder Worklist. Recommended for client coordinators, or others within a unit that will be sending out communications. | Reminders Worklist |
| Send Reminder | Allows the user to send reminder notifications to internal or external users through the email system. | Reminders Worklist |
