Expire Packages Job

The Expire Packages job checks for any open packages that have an expiration date prior to the current date, and then marks the status of all items on that package as expired.

Job Settings

The Expire Packages job uses the standard API job settings for VetView jobs.  The Active Flag indicates that the job is available to start.  The Auto Start flag means that the job will run automatically at the designated time, after the server is rebooted.

You can select the specific time that this job should run.  VetView strongly recommends that you run API jobs on a dedicated API server, and also that a job similar to this should run during off hours to avoid interfering with any other API jobs or with the production servers.
