Hospital Appointment No Show

Hospital Appointment No Show

The Hospital Appointment No Show job will check appointments on the schedule for which no patient has checked in, and if a certain amount of time has passed, mark the patient has no show automatically.

Job Settings

The job settings for the Appointment No Show job are the standard ones for the API jobs.  Active indicates that the job is available to run.  Auto Start means that the job will start running after the server is rebooted.

API Job Setting on Hospital Unit Setup

Note that this API job pulls its timer from the main VetView App, under the Unit Setup, since each hospital unit may want to have their no shows occur after a certain period of time e.g. after  1 hour, after 4 hours, etc.  The job itself will run once every 15 minutes.

Appointment No Show Log

The Hospital Appointment No Show Log displays appointments that were marked as No Show based on the settings of the job.

You can filter by unit, dates, or even a specific patient to narrow down the results.
