Overview

  1. Alerts can now be associate with the following:
    1. Clients
    2. Episodes
    3. Inventory Transfer Request Items on Backorder
    4. Patients
    5. Pharmacy and Generic Products
    6. Products
    7. Vendors
    8. Vendor Products
  2. Alert Types are now assigned an 'Alert Category', which determines the screen on which the Alert Type appears as an option in the list of values (LOV) when adding an Alert.
  3. Drug Interactions can now be designated as an Alert, and assigned an Alert Type.
  4. Alerts can now be viewed wherever they are relevant.

Functionality

 Client Comments & Alerts...


  • The 'Comments & Alerts' tab will provide the ability to view, add, edit, and delete Client Comments and Alerts.
  • The list of Comments and Alerts can be printed.
  • The Alerts will appear on screens that feature the Client.




 Generic Product Interactions & Warnings...
  • The 'Interactions & Warnings' tab will provide the ability to view, add, edit, and delete Generic Product Alerts.
  • The Alerts will appear on screens that feature the Generic Product, under the additional criteria of:
    • Age
    • Diagnosis
    • Generic Product Interaction
    • Patient Alert
    • Product Interaction
    • Species and Breed
    • Weight



 Inventory Transfers on Backorder...


  • A Product Alert will be created for Inventory Transfer Request Items that are on Backorder.


 Patient Comments & Alerts...


  • The 'Comments & Alerts' tab will provide the ability to view, add, edit, and delete Patient Comments and Alerts.
  • The list of Comments and Alerts can be printed.
  • The Alerts will appear on screens that feature the Patient.


 Pharmacy Product Interactions & Warnings...


  • The 'Interactions & Warnings' tab will provide the ability to view, add, edit, and delete Pharmacy Product Alerts.
  • The Alerts will appear on screens that feature the Pharmacy Product, under the additional criteria of:
    • Age
    • Diagnosis
    • Generic Product Interaction
    • Patient Alert
    • Product Interaction
    • Species and Breed
    • Weight

 Product Comments & Alerts...


  • The 'Product Comments & Alerts' tab will provide the ability to view, add, edit, and delete Product Comments and Alerts.
  • The list of Comments and Alerts can be printed.
  • The Alerts will appear on screens that feature the Product.

 Vendor Comments & Alerts...


  • The 'Vendor Comments & Alerts' tab will provide the ability to view, add, edit, and delete Vendor Comments and Alerts and Vendor Product Comments and Alerts.
  • The list of Comments and Alerts can be printed.
  • The Alerts will appear on screens that feature the Vendor and/or Product.



Definitions

Following is a table of definitions for the screens (Components), components of screens (Subcomponents), fields (UI Element labels, names and entities), controls (names and entities), DB columns, adjustment types, privileges, attributes, and specs that have a direct, or indirect, connection to the term 'Alert'.

Use the controls at the top of the table to change the sort, grouping, and row height.

To see more of the cell content, click on the cell expansion control located at the top-right corner of a selected cell.
